    • Electric Bicycles (EAPC) you can ride an electric bike if you’re 14 or over, as long as it is an “electrically assisted pedal cycle, with a motor smaller than 250 watts with max speed of 15.5mph” and must keep to the roads and not go through other customers pitches and must also give way to cars or pedestrians. They also need lights on if used at night.

      • All electric bikes not conforming to the EAPC rules are prohibited

      • including but not limited to:

        • electric bikes without pedals

        • electric motorbikes

        • quad bikes

        • Go-karts

        • electric scooters

        • hoverboards

        • segways

      *If you are unsure whether your electric mode of transport is suitable for our caravan park please contact us prior to arrival to discuss - mobility scooters are exempt as long as used appropriately.

    • We have a well stocked shop, with all your daily essential from food and drink, to toiletries, a selection of toys which changes throughout the year, as well as some camping essential in case of an emergency, like tent rip kits, disposable bbq’s and kindling and logs for your fire pit (you must provide your own fire pit)

    • You can have a BBQ provided it is on your pitch and raised off the floor to prevent scorch damage to the ground. Fire Pits are also permitted as long as they are raised 12inches off of the ground and extinguished by midnight

    • Unfortunately we do not have the facilities at the moment for you to charge your electric car. This is something we are hoping to implement in the near future. There is however, a superfast charging point 1 mile away in Wem Town Centre please ask reception for directions.

    • NB: Any unauthorised use of unmetered pitches will incur a cost of £3 per hour

    • The majority of our pitches are suitable for awnings, however any pitches advertised as hardstanding would not be suitable for your needs, as these are tarmacked or concrete pitches.

    • Our all weather pitches are suitable for awnings and are great in our British wet weather!

    • We are unable to accommodate dogs in our bar facilities as they be stressful environments due to loud noise, flashing lights etc. We do invite dogs in our outdoor spaces including our areas outside our bars.

    • NB: Dogs are unable to enter the Orange Field by JAKKS Barn, the swimming pool and in the children’s play areas.

    • We also have dog bowls dotted about our site for drinks stop along your daily walk.

    • Short answer - Yes,

    • Long answer - provided they are well behaved and check in on arrival at reception, and they need to let us know who they are visiting.

    • We do charge a small fee for day visitors which is discounted if you (customer staying on site) prebook.

    • We strongly advise booking your swimming slots ahead of your arrival on busy weekends

    • During quieter times such as midweek, you will be able to book whilst onsite.
